At my practicum, I was able to see some of the students present their analysis of poetry. I had worked with them during the middle of the week and was able to see them present this morning during class. I could tell that many of them were very nervous about getting up in front of the rest of the class and reciting their poems. One of the requirements of the project was to memorize and recite the poem that you chose to analyze. It was awesome to see how proud students were of themselves for memorizing at least 14 lines of poetry. Some of the students decided to further challenge themselves and memorize as many as 28 lines. I was very impressed with their accomplishments today.
